Integra today announced two new 7.2-Channel network AV receivers designed for the professional custom installer: DRX-3.1 (MSRP $1,000 USD & $1,400 CAD) and the DRX-2.1 (MSRP $800 USD & $1,100 CAD). Both models offer a wealth of next-generation functionality and provide the ultimate solution for all advanced home entertainment installations.

A quick run-through of both models hints at the superior design and ultimate performance befitting the Integra heritage as all rear inputs are HDCP-2.2 and HDMI-2.0a and support 4K/60 Hz, Dolby Vision?, HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma), HDR10, WCG (Wide Color Gamut), and BT.2020 Pass-through with HDCP 2.2.

On the audio side, both models can handle Hi-Res audio such as DSD 5.6 MHz / 2.8 MHz and 192 / 24 PCM, and decodes DSD*1, Dolby TrueHD?*2, FLAC, WAV, ALAC, AIFF, WMA Lossless, MP3 and AAC via network and USB input.

What’s more, Integra has now included Google Chromecast built-in*3 that allows owners to cast music from their smart phone or tablet through their Integra AV receiver, as well as control multiple functions via voice control when a Google Home speaker resides on the network.

Additionally, both models feature FireConnect?*4 by Blackfire that takes an analog audio signal from any source component plugged into your Integra AVR, as well as content from Internet radio and send it into multiple zones either wirelessly or hardwired. In that same vein, the DRX-3.1 and the DRX-2.1 support Apple Airplay?, as well as DTS Play-Fi? which will be available via a firmware update. Integra has also added additional music streaming support*5 by adding Tidal and Deezer to a feature-set that also includes Pandora, Spotify, and TuneIn Radio.

The DRX-3.1 outputs 100W per channel at 8 ohms while the DRX-2.1 check in at 80W per channel at 8 ohms, and both units feature 4 ohm-capable, low-impedance amplification system for dynamic and powerful performance. Both models support Dolby Atmos? and DTS:X? formats up to 5.2.2 channels in addition to traditional 7.2 channel setups.

As always, Integra provides the key features that custom installers seek including

? Bi-directional RS232 and Ethernet control port for home automation;

? Zone 2 pre / line out for distributed audio playback in another room;

? Zone 2 DAC for S/PDIF, NET and analog sources (SPDIF for DRX-3.1 only);

? Independent Zone 2 bass, treble, and balance control;

? Dealer settings memory store and recall with lock / unlock and PC software support;

? 2 IR inputs and 1 output;

? 3 programmable 12V triggers (100 mA, 25 mA x2, with adjustable delay).
